Saudi Falcons Club Cup in Hafar Al-Batin.. Focusing on the heritage and culture pride

The Saudi Falcons Club Cup will be held in Hafar Al-Batin Governorate, during the period from November 13 to 20, 2024, in the field located on King Abdulaziz Road, which is organized by the club as part of the events it holds during the season.

Almost 1,700 falconers will compete through this cup over 8 days at a rate of 6 rounds per day in an atmosphere full of excitement and suspense.

This event is considered an embodiment of the club’s efforts to preserve the authentic falconry heritage and enhance its cultural identity, as falcon lovers gather to compete and introduce this

heritage hobby and proudly pass it on to future generations, in accordance with Saudi Vision 2030.

The club aims to promote the values of falconry as a cultural, environmental and economic heritage. Since its establishment, it has worked to hold a variety of events and competitions that include auctions, exhibitions and festivals, all of which aim to bring together falconers, develop their skills and create the appropriate environment for practicing this heritage hobby.

Along with this cup, a village will be held that includes more than 10 events targeting all age groups, and includes many programs and events for families, children, and visitors interested in falconry heritage, such as the Falcon Museum, Al-Rawi Tent, and the Falcon Photography Pavilion. There are also a number of entertainment events for children and introducing them to falcons, such as the Falcon Race using VR technology for children, coloring a falcon drawing on a huge mural, a workshop to identify the types of falcons, and the Malwah Race for children, which is supervised by experts and trainers, making it a unique experience for all visitors.

Hafar Al-Batin was chosen as an ideal destination to host this event, thanks to its geographical location that makes it a major transit point for migratory falcons. The governorate is also famous for its cultural and economic diversity, as it includes many tourist and historical landmarks that reflect the Saudi heritage, which enhances the importance of the region as a center for cultural, social, and entertainment events.

The Cup aims to raise awareness about falconry, encourage more falconers to participate, and raise the level of community interaction. The club aims to preserve heritage and promote historical traditions of falconry, which contributes to strengthening national identity.
